A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team.
The Electrical Supervisor role exists to support MEICA operations "on site" within the S&B Utilities framework.
S&B Utilities Limited are involved in all major civils and engineering sectors. Working in exciting areas such as Ministry of Defence and regulated water industry. Work carried out by us includes new sewage pumping stations; main laying; rising mains; clean water repairs; sewage repairs; valve installations; hydrant installations; meter installations; manhole chambers and covers.
Civil engineering is also a core part of S&B Utilities Ltd. We operate across numerous sectors including water, construction, environmental, private and industrial as well as providing specialist support to the other divisions within the business.
The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -
Ensuring compliance with electrical quality, safety, occupational health and environmental performance
Providing weekly reports on electrical safety, plant and labour performance
Organising mechanical resources for daily activities
Organising plant and material requirements for site activities
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience/ attributes:-
Water Industry knowledge
Relevant industry skills card or qualifications (ECS/JIB)
BS2391 inspection and testing
Knowledge of electrical regulations 18th edition
Full UK driving license
Practical, logical, adaptable and an ability to remain calm under pressure
