Job Description
* 11 pm - 7 am, Sunday night - Friday morning, + Shift differential
Intek Plastics specializes in designing, manufacturing, assembling, and delivering a wide variety of customized plastic extrusions in the Fenestration, Hydroponic, Lighting, Refrigeration, and Power Management Industries.
Paid Intek Operator Training Course (1 week 7 am - 3 pm)
What You Would Do
* Set up extruder and co-extruder, install screws, dies, heater bands, etc.
* Read and understand prints (part dimensions, fabrication, packaging requirements).
* Start equipment; set operating parameters; pull down plastic.
* Perform quality checks: Measure and record appropriate data in SPC and LCS.
* Perform changeovers, length changes, angle changes.
* Shut down, tear down and properly clean equipment and prepare it for the next run.
* Calculate footage and record production information.

* Mechanically inclined.
* Basic computer skills.
* Able to organize and prioritize.
* Enjoys working independently while helping meet team goals.
* Proven attendance and work history.
