Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry Grade: Specialty Doctor Location : Beckingham, Kent Working Hours: 40 hours per week This role is a full-time locum position in an NHS service located in Beckingham, Kent. The trust seeks an enthusiastic specialty doctor in Adult Psychiatry to work full time hours for an initial period of 3 months What will your responsibilities be? Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose, and oversee the mental health of patients in your care. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of adult patients. The specialty doctor will provide evidence-based treatment and interventions for a range of mental health disorders. The psychiatrist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to deliver integrated care. The specialty doctor will participate in clinical reviews and case conferences to ensure the effectiveness of treatment plans. The specialty doctor will monitor and evaluate the progress of patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. The psychiatrist will contribute to the development and implementation of mental health programs and initiatives. The specialty doctor is expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
