Moulsham High School is a larger than average 11-18 comprehensive school where all students consistently achieve highly. Overall progress and attainment have been well above Essex and national averages for the last 8 years. 2024's G.C.S.E. results placed us in the top 9% of all schools nationally. We are looking for a well-qualified geography teacher, with a commitment to continuing professional development, to join our highly successful and dedicated Humanities Faculty. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an extremely supportive, experienced, and forward-looking Humanities team. All humanities staff have their own rooms which are adjacent to each other in the Livingstone Building and are equipped with an up-to-date smart screen and internet access. Uptake for geography at G.C.S.E. and A level is exceptionally high. Fieldwork is a highly valued and integral part of the curriculum at all key stages.
Responsibilities:
1. Teach geography up to and including G.C.S.E.
2. A level teaching may also be possible.
3. Engage in continuing professional development.
