The Role
As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping students thrive academically and socially. You will be responsible for assisting with lesson plans, providing one-on-one support, and creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
* Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt learning materials as needed.
* Assist with classroom management and organization.
Requirements
* Experience working with primary school children.
* A passion for education and helping students succeed.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
