Looking for a brand new job with satisfaction you'd struggle to find anywhere else? You're in luck as we're looking for new *female colleagues to join our amazing new support team in Peterhead on a permanent (20-35 hours per week) and relief basis.
The Role

For this opportunity, we're ideally looking for someone who has experience in caring or supportive role with the ability to lone work and have confidence to manage behaviours that can challenge. However, the successful candidate will undergo training on a detailed and specific support plan.
Here at Cornerstone, we pay you for your training and we also fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too.
What we'll need from you:-
* Good communication skills
* A caring, patient attitude and approach
* A positive approach to learning
* The ability to maintain professional boundaries
* An understanding of the importance of following routines and guidelines
* The ability to cook
* Confidence in the use of computers
It would be great if you also have:-
* A full, clean driving license (but this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidates)
Shift patterns
As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible, shift patterns will involve mornings, days and evenings. Weekends, public holidays and sleepovers will also form part of your rota on a rotational basis.
The sleepover part of your shift isn't included in your contracted hours, so you will also get an additional £96 for each sleepover worked.
Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!
We are looking to fill these vacancies as soon as possible and reserve the right to close our advert early if we find suitable candidates before the closing date. Please apply early to avoid disappointment.
Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
