The management accountant will assist the Financial Reporting Manager in preparing, organizing, and reporting the monthly P&L and balance sheet. Additionally, they will conduct ongoing ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to improve management information and distribute it throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of Management Account
* Develop ongoing relationship with colleagues within the business, both within the department as well as across department function, including coverage of all business units.
* Revenue recognition
* Prepayments
* Accruals for purchase orders
* Fleet-related expenses
* Review and adjustment of invoice postings and cost centre allocations
* Monthly review of contract-specific costs, with any relevant analysis
* Reconciliation of the Balance Sheet monthly
* Ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis
Experience:
* Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
* Proficient in computer and software applications, including Microsoft Office and financial software solutions
* Excellent analytical abilities with a logical mindset
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Self-driven, dependable, and enthusiastic
