I’m currently working with a client in the property investment sector, and they are looking for an enthusiastic Events & Marketing Assistant to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a great chance to, support a variety of exciting events, and be a part of a dynamic marketing team!
Role Overview
As an Events & Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the Communications and Events Manager, helping to plan and execute company events while also assisting with content creation, marketing campaigns, and administrative tasks. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves coordinating events, and is passionate about marketing in the property investment space.
Key Responsibilities
* Event Planning & Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating company events, such as meet-and-greets, conferences, and golf days.
* Logistics Management: Handle logistics for events, including venue sourcing, booking, vendor coordination, and attendee registration.
* Content Creation: Support the creation of marketing materials, newsletters, and content for social media platforms.
* Marketing Calendar Management: Keep track of marketing activities and project timelines to ensure everything runs smoothly.
* Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis as needed to stay ahead of trends.
* Email Campaigns & CRM Management: Coordinate email marketing campaigns and assist with updating CRM systems with new leads and contacts.
* Administrative Support: Assist with event scheduling, managing correspondence, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks.
* Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
Qualifications & Skills
* Education: Ideally a bachelor’s degree in Events, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* Experience: Previous experience or internship in marketing, event planning, or administration is a plus.
* Organisational Skills: Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing schedules.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
* Social Media & Email Marketing: Familiarity with social media management and email marketing platforms.
* Proactive: A self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude.
