We have an opportunity for a Techncial Controller to join the team at Cooneen Protection and Aviation, Fivemiletown on a permanent basis. The successful person will assist in the co-ordination of all components, sampling, tender and mobilisation administration for Cooneen Aviation and Cooneen Protection products across new and existing business. Responsibilities Progress tasks allocated by the Technical Project Manager against the weekly priority schedule Create and process orders in support of sales, production and tender requests and support the Technical & Design Co-ordinator with information required for sample request forms. Check R&D fabric stock levels and order if necessary and create and manage new components entries onto PRIMA. Support the Product Engineer, and business development & sales team with general enquires when requested Attend weekly project meetings, and create and draft technical documentation, including draft designs, design specifications and work instructions and send to the Technical Project Manager for review. Liaise with and update the Technical Project Manager on the status of Supplier Manuals, Work Instructions and timeline for completion including supplier invoices, project issues and bottlenecks. Track the progress of samples requested from suppliers and update the relevant team members of delivery Support the Technical Project Manager and Head of Product Development (Cooneen Protection and Aviation) by providing technical drawings and supporting evidence for tender opportunities. Assist in the technical sampling, and the creation of tender submission packs, to support tender bids (which may include samples, technical documents, tender responses and presentations). Create test protocols in line with customer requirements Attend pool testing and create reports to share internal and with customer for product qualification Manage Certificates of Conformity and assist with compiling critical information required against the AS9001D quality standard. Liaise with suppliers to resolve problems, update relevant technical records, and obtain technical information for supporting tender submissions. Support the Technical Project Manager and Product Engineer by providing all relevant component codes and critical information for Cooneen Aviation in line with the contract mobilisation deadlines. Support the Product Engineer with the assembly and shipment of necessary customer/tender samples Provide key information required to aid all tender related technical activities to facilitate the team achieving top / winning score in tender assessments. Assist with quality testing of inflatables, when necessary. Identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility. Any other duties deemed necessary by management. Observe all Company Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies particularly in relation to Health and Safety, Harassment, Disciplinary and ICT Security. Maximize efficiency by supporting Cooneen Lean continuous improvement activities. This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. Previous administration experience to include maintenance of records Experience of Quality Testing based on customer and business specifications Experience of presenting technical information to both internal and external stakeholder Desirable HND/degree or equivalent in a design or engineering or a closely related discipline Administration experience includes Health and Safety documentation Previous Technical experience, can include managing ISO 9001, AS9100D or other industry standards Experienced Adobe Suite user.
