The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance operations across all offshore and onshore sites for INEOS FPS North Assets to ensure optimal functionality, safety and compliance with all regulatory standards.
The Maintenance Superintendent ensures that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely in line with the INEOS FPS North objectives.
What does the day to day look like?
Oversee and direct the daily maintenance activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget. This includes line management of two direct reports within the Maintenance Team.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules, prioritising critical tasks to minimize operational disruptions.
Ensure proper coordination with contractors and external vendors when necessary, overseeing all outsourced maintenance work.
Support the development of appropriate maintenance Key Performance Indicators.
Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programmes to ensure consistent and reliable performance of all systems and equipment.
Review maintenance logs and reports regularly to identify recurring issues.
Support ongoing evaluation of maintenance practices and introduce improvements when necessary.
Ensure that maintenance work complies with applicable regulations, including health and safety standards.
Oversee the procurement and inventory of necessary parts, materials, and tools required for maintenance tasks.
Support consistent tracking of the planning, progress, execution and close-out of the respective Maintenance deliverables.
Support with the identification, communication and management of risks and roadblocks in relation to the planning, readiness and execution of Maintenance activities.
Act as the focal point for the Asset in all deliverables and dependencies for the Maintenance activities.
What do I need?
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferably ONC/HNC in Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
Relevant experience of Asset Operations and Maintenance.
Experience of operational, engineering and maintenance systems and processes.
Job Knowledge/ Skills:
Working knowledge of:
* Maintenance Standards, Control of work and HSSE.
* Maximo and Microsoft Excel.
* Methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the modification and maintenance of activities related to oil and gas production operations.
* Maintenance planning and scheduling.
An ability to work under pressure, with a drive for action, initiative and delivery.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
Results driven mindset to ensure roadblocks are promptly and effectively managed.
High levels of attention to detail.
Ability to effectively manage emergent requirements amongst planned workflow.
Positive attitude, self-confident, independent and ability to work on own initiative.
