Salary: £40,221 - £41,418 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, flexible working.
Workbase: West Cumbria House, Workington
Contract: Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Learning Disability, Autism and Transition Social Work Team in Cumberland Council. We are an enthusiastic, creative, and supportive team working to support adults who have a learning disability and/or autism.

About the role
As an Enhanced Practitioner, you will assess the needs of people and their carers and ensure the development and delivery of appropriate person-centred, self-directed and enabled support to meet the Council's statutory obligations for people who have social care needs.
Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the principles of The Care Act 2014 and will be skilled in undertaking strength-based, creative, and inclusive assessments, as well as support planning and the effective management of a mixed complexity caseload.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults and Children’s Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults and Young People from age 14 years.
