LIVE OUT ROLE SW LONDON / LIVE IN ALSO A POSSIBILITY. Start date: end of April A family in SW London is looking for a long-term live-out or live-in Nanny to care for their two children This could be a great opportunity for a teacher who wants a change from the classroom. The children are a 10 year old in year 5 and a 7 year old in year 3 Hours are 7am to 7pm Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday, and on Monday and Friday, there is the possibility that the nanny can start later, around 2pm. This adds up to 46 hours a week, but the family is willing to work on an average of 50/55 hours a week. The school is a 10-minute walk from the family home, and both children are at the same school. School hours are currently 8.30am to 3.30pm, but from September the school day will start at 8 am and finish at 4pm. The children cannot be dropped off before 8am, so it's not always possible for the parents to take them, however, they would like their nanny to do 3 morning drop-offs on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursdays, and they will aim to do Monday and Fridays if they are able. The older child is quiet but sporty, musical, and also loves arts and crafts; they are an all-rounder The younger one also does classes and enjoys a mixture of activities, including dancing and arts and crafts. Both children do a selection of after-school clubs. The family also has a medium-sized dog who loves long walks, and extra hours may be worked by the Nanny if she would like to walk the dog each day. A driver would be handy but it is not essential Neither child has any special needs or allergies. The family would love someone with a good attitude and who has excellent energy levels. Bubbly and fun, but with the ability to help the children with their homework, take them to after-school activities, cook for them, wash their clothes, and do all things related to the children. They go away for around a month in the summer to Europe and would love to take their nanny away with them for part of this. Salary will be dependent on experience and finalised hours (as a guide between £18 and £20 gross per hour for a live-out nanny with live-in nanny pay to be discussed). If live in, accommodation will be in a separate location close to the family's home. At times, if the parents are late home from work, there will be extra hours required for this and babysitting, but this will be discussed separately on an ad hoc basis.
