About the role:
We are actively looking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator looking for a new challenge. This is an exciting and wide-ranging role that will be reporting directly into the Accounts Payable Manager but will also work closely with the AP and MA teams.
The role includes:
1. Processing supplier invoices and purchase orders
2. Creating and processing supplier payment files
3. Reconciling supplier accounts
4. Logging and actioning queries from suppliers and colleagues
5. Processing of incoming post
6. Other ad hoc activities at the direction of the Accounts Payable Manager
What we're looking for:
1. Accounts Payable experience, ideally in a large organisation
2. Used to working collaboratively in a team
3. Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the business
4. Accurate, diligent and conscientious with good attention to detail
5. Experience using an accounting system an advantage
6. Build effective and credible relationships both internally and externally
7. Good organisational skills
8. Ability to work to tight deadlines
9. Good time management
10. Ability to effectively use Microsoft Excel
11. AAT qualified, part qualified or equivalent
12. GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
