If so, Leigh Academy Halley is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor, joining with immediate effect on a part-time basis, working 10 hours per week, term time only.
Leigh Academy Halley is seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to join us after the Easter break. You will be working as part of a team, assisting the Academy Leadership Team in ensuring the safety and welfare of pupils during the midday lunch break. This will involve effective supervision of students in and about the Academy site in accordance with the high expectations that we have of all students. Lunchtime Supervisors act as role models for our students, as friendly and familiar faces in our staffing body.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Supervise students and manage their behaviour in the restaurant and the playground at break and lunchtimes, including orderly queuing when necessary.
* Take responsibility for students' welfare, safety, and supervision during the lunch break.
* Act as a role model and encourage good behaviour amongst students.
* Deal with any spillages in the dining hall in accordance with infection control procedures.
* Ensure students are directed to the appointed First Aider when needed.
* Ensure, in accordance with instructions given, that all students return to class at the end of the lunch period.

Previous experience of a role in an educational setting is desirable. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
