Job summary This is a full-time clinical fellow post in respiratory medicine with the option of being part of the general medical on call. The successful applicants will be based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage but will be required to do clinics at the New QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City and Hertford County Hospital in Hertford. This is a new post has arisen to enhance the middle grade cover in respiratory medicine to support the junior team on the wards but will also provide the candidate with the training in respiratory medicine. The Trust has two Specialist Registrar posts linked to Cambridge and the training and support given to the successful candidate will be the same. Main duties of the job Provision of Medical Grade cover within the respiratory department. Support of the junior team in the day to day management of in-patients. Together with the consultant provide specialist input to other departments in the Trust. Part of the ACT (Acute Chest Team) which is the in-reach team for ED and Medical admissions.
