Reporting to the Deputy Director of the West Glamorgan Transformation Programme, this strategic position involves driving and developing a long-term regional capital programme and plan for integrated health and social care. The role requires collaboration with key partners to facilitate cross-sector strategic planning for capital investments in health and social care services and facilities.,
* Lead the development of the capital programme strategy and plan.
* Report progress to the Strategic Capital Planning Group and Steering and Advisory Board.
* Collaborate with Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, Swansea Bay University Health Board, Swansea Council, Registered Social Landlords, and other Third Sector Providers.
* Ensure the integration of West Glamorgan co-production principles in the capital planning process, giving people a voice in decision-making.
Essential to have skills and experience in capital accounting.
* Experience in complex programme management.
* Understanding of social care and health policy developments.
* Skills in administration management and supporting projects with business cases and financial documentation for funding bids.
* Experience of engaging and communicating with a range of stakeholders
* Personal qualities: adaptable, flexible, able to handle unpredictable situations, and capable of prioritising under pressure in a changing environment.
Working Conditions: This role is primarily home-based, with occasional meetings as required.
