Job Title: Production Supervisor

Pay Range: $31.50-40.00/hour. Overtime pay and hours are accounted for time worked over 40 hours in a week. Pay is biweekly.
Shift: 11pm – 7:30am Monday-Friday and potential overtime on weekends, typically one or two Saturdays a month. Must arrive and stay 15-30 minutes pre- and post-shift for handoffs.
Core Responsibilities:
1. The Production Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of safety, quality, and production of their shift, leading 12 direct reports and communicating key information with other stakeholders.
2. Responsible for the direct supervision and training of hourly employees.
3. Requires flexibility to work various shifts, 40+ hours per week, and weekends as required.
4. Reports directly to the Production Manager.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environment.
2. Completion of shift production and reporting paperwork.
3. Immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts, or injuries to Production Manager.
4. Meet AASHTO quality specifications for all products produced.
5. Assist with Preventive Maintenance program as required.
6. Meet wired plant compliance metrics.
7. Practice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenance schedule.
8. Adhere to product sampling schedule.
9. Meet or exceed facility housekeeping expectations.
10. Daily allocation and management of available resources to accomplish the shift’s assigned production duties.
11. Maintain and build job skills through company training programs.
12. Meet or exceed standard production efficiencies on all production lines.
13. Ensure that all employees on the shift are properly trained in the areas of safety and quality as well as all job functions.
14. Coordinate with Maintenance and/or troubleshoot process and mechanical problems, repairs, and adjustments to maximize production and safety.
15. Expedite product changeovers in an efficient manner.

Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1-2 years’ experience as a line operator or related experience; extrusion a plus. Supervisory training or related experience.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours.
2. Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in temperature extremes.
3. Ability to use hands, arms, and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods.
4. Position requires full range of body motion including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles.
