A highly regarded secondary school in the London Borough of Ealing is seeking a well-qualified French Teacher to join their successful Modern Foreign Languages department on a part-time basis from January 2025. This is a temporary position initially, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The Role: You will be responsible for teaching French to students across Key Stage 3 and 4 (ages 11-16). You will plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to a range of learning styles. You will assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. You will contribute to the development of departmental resources and schemes of work. You will be expected to participate in departmental meetings and school events. The Ideal Candidate: You will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. You will have a strong academic background in French, with excellent subject knowledge. You will have proven experience of teaching French at Key Stage 3 and 4. You will be a creative and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for your subject. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be committed to high standards of teaching and learning. You will be able to work effectively as part of a team.
