Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring that the ‘Corporate’ entities group reporting under IFRS (i.e. SAP Comet/Tagetik) and statutory accounts (FRS 101 & 102) are consistently delivered to the relevant parties to a high standard and on time. They should provide clarity in respect of the ‘Corporate’ entities day-to-day Treasury requirements regarding guarantees, as well as performing a variety of tasks to support technical financial accounting in Maidenhead. Reporting: Maintenance of general ledgers (Sun Microsystems) for group holding & finance companies to ensure they are up to date and accurate Preparation & submission of complete & accurate monthly results for group reporting purposes (SAP Comet/Tagetik) Preparation of complete & accurate annual budgeted and quarterly forecast figures for group reporting purposes (SAP Comet/Tagetik) Ensure delivery of group reporting requirements in line with specified timetables (i.e. Finance Calendar) Review board minutes each month for transactions (i.e. dividends, inter-company rationalisation etc) and ensure journals are prepared and circulated Ensure effective maintenance of all existing & future systems, always maintaining integrity of data. Assist in preparation of year-end impairment reviews for tangible and intangible assets Accounting: Ensure all statutory accounts are prepared under FRS 101 or FRS 102 using Caseware (accounts preparation package).
