Our client is currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. This would be a long-term contract Outside of IR35 working within the Nuclear industry. The client also offers a 4-day working week with 2 days in office and 2 days working remotely.
Our client is looking for applicants who have experience and an understanding of Cost and Scheduling, as well as programme requirements alongside a basic understanding of contracts and how to administer them.
Applicants will be responsible for the daily control of specific management tools like CEMAR, as well as supporting the PM with risk management, whether a new risk is brought to light through the EWN process or a known risk is stated.
The client is also looking for someone to support the Bid team in the commercial evaluation of terms and conditions, as well as compiling commercial responses and clarifications. Candidates must be fully conversant with all aspects of NEC contract terms and conditions.
All applicants must be able to gain SC clearance if they do not already hold it, as well as having the full right to work within the UK already established.
