The LA Community Lead plays a critical community marketing role in fostering deep connections with local audiences, supporting brand ambassadors, organizing impactful events, and enhancing the retail community experience. You will focus on being a creative thinker and student of the running and fitness community, willing to insert yourself into the day-to-day community nourishing both current and future relationships.
Your Mission
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy that focuses on building deep, authentic relationships and driving brand affinity in your market.
2. Responsible for a robust calendar of community events/activations both in-store and out of store, that drive engagement and strong attendance.
3. Actively participating in the running and training community. Integrating and collaborating with community leaders to build run culture.
4. Engaging relevant cross-functional partners, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring On is hosting premium events and experiences.
5. Host regular meetings to build key relationships with community leaders, influencers, artists, and more.
6. Effectively utilize tools to track and measure the success of community events, including attendance metrics, social media engagement, and ROI analytics to story-tell the impact of the work.
7. Owning communication and correspondences with cross functional teams to announce and amplify community events and activations.
8. Integrable contributor helping drive the strategic vision leading into the 2028 Olympics.
Your story
1. 5+ years of experience in building connections/relationships on behalf of a brand.
2. Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience.
3. You have a deep understanding of your local market and connections to the community.
4. You are able to work under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment.
5. You understand the importance of engaging with and building community through our retail locations and will partner with programming teams to concept and execute local events to achieve business objectives in your market.
6. Proven experience in community marketing, preferably within the sports or apparel industry.
7. You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions, inspiring breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement.
8. Strong knowledge of social media marketing trends, best practices, and strategies.
9. You are a collaborator and connector, creating a respectful environment for your peers and leadership, able to balance autonomy and collaboration.
