Director of Business Development
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director, to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be a driven, and results-oriented individual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a strategic business development plan tailored to the biologics discovery market.
2. Drive presence in Europe through conference participation, speaking engagements, and on-site visits.
3. Establish recurring business models and cultivate long-term customer relationships.
4. Lead contract negotiations and close agreements with clients.
5. Collaborate closely with the Marketing team on strategies and the development of technical materials.
6. Utilize technical expertise to help create and deliver scientific solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
Qualifications:
7. Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences (other degrees considered with relevant industry experience); an advanced degree is a plus.
8. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the life sciences industry.
9. Demonstrated success in selling products, services, or solutions to pharma/biotech clients.
10. Experience introducing highly innovative solutions and driving market adoption is a strong advantage.
