Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chef Manager to join our team. As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, developing innovative menus, and leading a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to create well-balanced, nutritious menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences
* Manage and optimize the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards
* Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve operational excellence
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and suppliers
* Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols
* Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency
* Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
* Continuously monitor and improve customer satisfaction through proactive communication and feedback implementation
* Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu planning and execution
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment
* Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and support a culinary team effectively
* Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes
* Strong financial acumen, including budget creation and management
* Proficiency in menu development, considering nutritional value and diverse dietary needs
* In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control protocols
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
* Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing circumstances
* Proficiency in using kitchen management software and inventory systems
* Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred
