Simple Recruitment are looking for an experienced Retail Sales Support Specialist for a permanent opportunity with our client in Bath.
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm (with some flexibility) with 1 hour lunch.

The Job:
The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting independent retail customers and national accounts, ensuring the supply chain runs smoothly from sign off through delivery. The Support Specialist will manage assigned account orders and coordinate packaging and shipping to ensure the business meets the customers’ stringent requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management
1. First point of contact for retailers for all supply chain and order queries.
2. Process orders and dispatch to the warehouse.
3. Coordinate packaging requirements to ensure order is packed to customer requirements.
4. Complete Key Account ‘New Product’ set up forms and detailed product information, pricing, and shipping dates.
5. Manage and upload product data onto customers’ database application and submit hard copies where applicable.
6. Fully understand vendor compliance guidelines for each customer and ensure production and warehouse terms are made aware of such requirements.
7. Complete and check FOB shipping paperwork where required.
8. Correctly invoicing all orders per guidelines.
9. Responsible for reviewing Terms & Conditions and liaising with other departments to see if we are compliant.
10. Understand testing requirements required by each customer and obtain reports from the production team.
11. Manage all returns and credit queries and discuss with Accounts on the best method to process transactions.
Inventory Management
1. Organise samples for key accounts and ensure these meet the customers' selection deadlines and are re-called where necessary.
2. Manage forecast by reviewing inventory availability against customer forecasts.
3. Review vendor manuals to ensure compliance for correct deliveries.
Communication
1. Support the Sales Directors in all account queries and order status.
2. Have regular contact with customer merchandising teams to support them on status of orders, inventory availability, and forecast.
3. Work closely with internal teams and warehouse.
General
1. Travel to the Warehouse may be required as needed. Associated expenses will be reimbursed according to employment agreement terms.
