Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our clients Managed Services team. This role focuses on providing high-quality technical support to customers across local government, healthcare, and private sector organisations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, experience with cloud environments, and a track record of maintaining and optimising enterprise IT systems. This position requires an individual who excels at troubleshooting complex issues, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring system availability in line with service level agreements (SLAs). Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for the Integra finance system, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical incidents. Install, upgrade, and administer Oracle/MSSQL Server and the Integra finance system across various operating systems and infrastructures. Perform database administration (MSSQL/Oracle) and ensure optimal performance. Manage the implementation and configuration of new systems, modules, and components in line with customer requirements and contractual obligations. Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers, Project Managers, Support Teams, and Application Consultants to ensure the successful completion of technical deployments and upgrades. Ensure that all systems, applications, and services meet business SLA targets and operate efficiently. Investigate and analyse client issues raised through the ServiceNow call logging system. Support the BACS transmission process for hosted clients. Assist pre-sales and sales teams with technical expertise when required. Create and maintain process documentation to ensure operational efficiency and knowledge sharing. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Previous experience in a technical support helpdesk role. Experience with cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure integration. Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow. Working knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL Server database administration. Maintenance of Microsoft Windows, including Group Policy Objects and Active Directory. General administration knowledge of Unix operating systems. Proven experience in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management. Security clearance eligibility. Desirable: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate. ITIL v4 Foundation certification. Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios and Microsoft Analytics.
