Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading manufacturer of Fluid Power products.
The successful candidate will work remotely, covering various parts of the UK depending on their location, selling and managing key accounts within the Fluid Power sector via distribution channels and end users / OEM channels.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling, servicing, manufacturing, or managing key accounts within the Fluid Power sector such as hydraulics, Rail hydraulics, Hydraulic cylinders, Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs), valves, pumps, filtration, compressors, motors, MRO, or similar mechanical engineering products.
Package
1. £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
2. High bonus scheme
3. Monday - Thursday - Early finish on Friday

Role Responsibilities
1. Managing a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers in various industries.
2. Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling various Fluid Power-related products including hydraulics, Rail Hydraulics, Agricultural equipment, Hydraulic power units (HPUs), valves, pumps, filtration, MRO, or similar mechanical engineering products.
3. Maintaining Hydraulics and sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
4. Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
5. Liaise with various engineering departments.
6. Willing to travel.
Requirements
1. Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar.
2. Experience selling or servicing mechanical engineering equipment - hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pumps, HPUs, Hydraulic Power units, Rail Hydraulics, Agricultural equipment, filtration, motors, MRO, or similar mechanical engineering products.
3. Service Engineers looking to come off the tools and progress into sales would also be of interest.
4. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering manufacturer.
5. A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
6. Full clean driving license.
7. Willingness to travel to customer sites.
