Who You Are We’re looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist with a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience. You should possess a professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. A valid full UK driver's license is required for home and hospital visits. What the Job Involves As an Experienced Occupational Therapist in our Reablement team, you will conduct strengths-based assessments, working collaboratively with clients and their families to design and implement creative reablement plans. Your role involves managing a complex caseload, providing professional supervision, and supporting Occupational Therapists and Customer Coordinators. You will work within a legal framework to promote well-being, independence, and minimize the need for long-term care. Additionally, you will undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, risk management, and conduct evaluations to prioritize client and service needs. Skills Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy Registered with HCPC Experience in Occupational Therapy (minimum 2 years post-qualification) Knowledge of Health, Housing, and Social Care legislation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage complex caseloads Competence in risk assessment and management Proficient in ICT and report writing Well-organized and self-starter
