Join the Close Brothers Asset Finance team where you will process new transactions across key accounts, optimising those relationships and building on existing business for the four lending businesses within our Industrial Equipment Division (IED). Those are are Agriculture, Manufacturing, Finance for Industry and Construction & Recycling. Working closely with the Sales and Customer Relations Teams, you will complete your own customer onboarding and assise the wider sales team with other new business administration and initiatives. Our ideal team member will have relevant experience within sales and/or customer service, with a track record of building effective working relationships and capitalising on their potential opportunities. They will be highly organised with strong initiative and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers via telephone, emails, and on occasion face to face meetings. Proactively assist the Business Development team with the administration on transactions as required, including Salesforce and Originate data entry, working on proposals, generating paperwork, liaising with the customer and supplier, managing novations and transfers Develop strong understanding of products offered by Close Asset Finance Develop sector-specific knowledge, gathering market data and customer information. Proactively working with introducers, acting as the first point of contact on new proposals for new and existing customers Effective planning and organising of time and tasks to ensure that the sales pipeline is well maintained. Make accurate, rapid quotations and provide customers with the relevant information to assist with closing the deal. Ensure all work is line with regulatory requirements, company procedure and culture. WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF HAVE: The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proven experience of working proactively and taking initiative Numerate with analytical ability and ability to price and structure deals and proposals Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, ability to communicate with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority and liaise effectively with other internal departments Strong interpersonal skills, quick to develop and maintain relationship both internally and externally Proven ability to work accurately and under set deadlines IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE: Prior experience and knowledge of the IED sectors – agriculture, construction & recycling, manufacturing and other capital equipment.
