The Group IT PMO Analyst will help design and implement PMO process changes and the day-to-day running of PMO processes. The role includes the delivery of changes under the guidance of the PMO senior analyst and PMO manager, but also some independent decision making will be required. An example of such a process is an improved intake/demand management for IT investments or tools. Management of resulting processes is also expected and, when necessary, some administrative tasks of a PMO, such as timesheet management. The role involves collaborating with mostly internal stakeholders at mid to senior level across the Group.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Process Improvement:
1. Investigate current processes and gaps as identified by the PMO manager.
2. Rollout of the Project Management Framework (PMF) globally.
3. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for identified process improvements and prepare solution designs.
4. Review and approve designs and rollout plans, including testing and communication.
5. Roll out the planned process changes and ensure sustainability through monitoring and improvements. This may also involve owning the process going forwards.
2. Project Planning and Management:
1. Where the process changes are identified as projects:
2. Ensure all project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are met.
3. Coordinate with stakeholders and report status to the PMO manager.
4. Operate within the Rentokil Initial Project Management Framework (PMF).
3. PMO Support:
1. Be prepared to deliver standard activities of a PMO analyst including:
2. Monitoring projects in the IT portfolio for compliance to PMF.
3. Assessing and influencing the quality of project deliverables for gate.
Requirements:
1. Demonstrates a passion to work in a project management framework.
2. Extensive experience of the PMO function in development, business transformation, and compliance projects.
3. Has experience in managing deliverables in a project environment and/or shown a capability within their current/previous roles.
4. Has an understanding of risk/compliance frameworks.
