About The Role Role - Support Worker Location – Swansea - Hourly rate £11.60 - £12.00 based on 39 hours per week (days, and sleep in) We’re a leading organisation dedicated to provide exceptional care and support to young people who have had childhood trauma, are struggling with mental health or both. A day in the life of working at Rhos Cottage includes: Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment; Being a positive role model; Promoting independence by supporting a range of social, school and work-based activities; Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs; Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise; General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation; You’ll need: A can-do attitude, resilient nature; Previous care experience preferred but not essential. To hold a current valid driver’s license; Compassion and empathy; Good communication both verbal and written; Flexibility around shift times; To be reliable, punctual and trustworthy; Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
