Job Title: Asbestos Consultant / Auditor
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary / Benefits: £25k - £45k + Training + Benefits
A continuously expanding and professional Asbestos Consultancy based in the Yorkshire region is seeking to take on an Asbestos Consultant / Auditor to join their team. This role would suit someone who has experience working hands-on within the Asbestos industry, ideally as a surveyor / analyst. The successful candidate will also have experience in providing consultancy advice to clients, auditing staff on site, and providing continuous training and support where required. Experience & Qualifications:
1. Will hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent.
2. Experience working hands-on for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
3. Extensive experience working in a consultancy / auditing role.
4. Well versed in HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
5. Excellent communication skills via phone, face to face, email.
6. Excellent time management skills.
7. Able to build and maintain excellent professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
The Role:
1. Attending site to carry out audits on technical staff and contractors.
2. Correctly pricing and quoting work.
3. Providing support and training to site staff.
4. Liaising with clients to provide excellent consultancy and technical advice.
5. Attending meetings in line with company and client needs, ensuring to represent the company in a professional manner.
6. Undertaking QC assurance.
7. Conducting management, refinement, demolition, and re-inspection surveys (upon completion of work).
8. 4 stage clearances.
9. Leak, smoke, background, reassurance, and personal air testing.
10. Working in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
11. Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports based on site findings.
12. Checking equipment on site, ensuring it's in safe working condition.
