We're looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and forward-thinking team at Stratford-Upon-Avon Vets for Pets!
You'll become part of a vibrant team of 3 vets, 1 head RVN, 1 further RVN, 1 SVN, 1 ANA and 3 Client Care Advisors.
Our nurses are veterinary professionals, and we ensure that they are able to fulfil their clinical potential. We have a team of talented Client Care Advisors to support the client journey, freeing up our Nurses to carry out their roles effectively and enabling you to lead and manage nurse clinics and perform schedule 3 procedures.
The surgery is well equipped with state-of-the-art first opinion equipment and an excellent range of diagnostic facilities. The practice includes 3 consult rooms, one operating theatre, a diagnostic suite (with digital X-ray and ultrasound), and comprehensive Idexx In-house laboratory equipment, as well as separate dog ward, cat ward, and an isolation ward.
The ideal Nurse for us will be a great team player with high standards of care and a good level of experience.
The role is full time (40 hours) including 1 in 4 weekends on a rota with time back in lieu and no OOH!
Working for us, you'll enjoy a supportive and fun working environment together with great career development opportunities. You'll also benefit from an excellent package including a competitive salary, RCVS fees paid, company pension, and exclusive company discounts and rewards.
The CPD budget is generous and encouraged to be used.
We are based inside a busy Pets at Home store on a mezzanine, located on the Maybrook Retail Park, with free parking and close to Stratford's historic town centre.
If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service, then we would love to hear from you!
We want our colleagues to be as diverse as our clients. Our teams are inclusive and celebrate difference, so if you meet our role requirements, we’d love to hear from you.
Location: CV37 0BT
Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves, so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
