A leading Facilities Management service provider is seeking an experienced and versatile Mobile Multi-Skilled Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team, supporting a flagship trophy commercial building in Central London and covering one additional mobile site as required. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a prestigious, high-profile environment while benefiting from the flexibility of a mobile role with travel paid for.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nUndertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on both electrical and mechanical systems across the static site and other mobile locations.\nCarry out maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, and minor installations on: \nElectrical power distribution systems\nLighting & emergency lighting\nHVAC systems (fan coils, AHUs, pumps)\nBasic plumbing systems (hot/cold water, drainage)\nGeneral fabric maintenance tasks\nComplete electrical testing, inspections, and fault diagnosis, ensuring compliance with current regulations.\nWork closely with on-site client representatives and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service delivery and minimal disruption to building operations.\nAccurately complete compliance documentation, service reports, and risk assessments.\nEnsure all work is conducted safely and in accordance with health & safety legislation and company policies.\nCollaborate with the wider engineering and support teams to ensure seamless FM service provision.\nProvide emergency call-out cover when required (1 in 5).\n\nKey Requirements:\n\nLevel 3 qualification in Electrical Installations (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) - Essential.\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) - Essential.\nProven experience in a multi-skilled M&E maintenance role, ideally within a commercial FM or building services environment.\nStrong capability in electrical fault-finding, testing, inspection, and repair.\nCompetence in basic mechanical systems maintenance, including HVAC and plumbing.\nExperience in general building fabric maintenance tasks is highly desirable.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional, client-focused approach.\nAbility to work independently, manage workloads, and remain flexible when covering multiple sites.\nStrong commitment to health & safety and compliance.\n\nWhat's On Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary - £46,000\nTravel covered (Role requires travel within Zone 1 only)\nMonday to Friday working hours (08:00 - 16:00).\n25 days annual leave + bank holidays.\nComprehensive pension scheme.\nOngoing professional training & development opportunities.\nAccess to employee benefits platform with retail discounts, wellbeing resources, and more.\nOpportunity to work at a prestigious static site in Central London, with additional mobile coverage. \nRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
