What you’ll be doing
As a compliance analyst, you will be the key support for other departments to deliver compliance in their areas. You will achieve this through supporting the business in training, monitoring, reporting and supporting with the delivery of regulatory change implementation. You’ll spend time working alongside key departments (notably operations, customer services, collections and sales) to investigate and address key areas of risk, and ensure that departments implement required changes to manage these risks and maintain compliance. You’ll also maintain the compliance risk register and ensure correct lines of reporting are followed to ensure key risk areas are communicated with the wider business.
You will be abreast of market developments through collaboration with the broader regulation and compliance team, and will be responsible for supporting with business impact assessments and regulatory change management to ensure we are compliant with upcoming changes – most notably changes to the Customer Protection Code of Practice, Market Performance Framework and Scottish Code of Practice, as well as other ongoing Code Changes.
