Proven experience as a Factory Manager or similar leadership role in an FMCG environment. Strong knowledge of production management, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement principles. Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning software. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and quality control processes. Results-driven, with a focus on process optimisation and cost reduction. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly and under pressure. A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field (preferred). What does the day-to-day look like? Managing all production operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution, to meet production targets and delivery deadlines. Overseeing quality control processes to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards. Leading a team of production supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee development. Monitoring factory KPIs, driving performance improvements, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols, creating a safe working environment for all employees. Collaborating with supply chain, procurement, and engineering teams to optimise production processes and resource allocation. Identifying and implementing lean manufacturing practices to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
