The salary for this role will be circa £85,000.00 per year with participation in an annual bonus scheme, and a car allowance, in addition to our great range of benefits. As our Electrical Manager, you will be required to act as the Viridor Senior Authorised Person for all HV/LV Electrical Distribution Systems owned or controlled by Viridor, including all its subsidiary businesses Viridor employees are at work, in accordance with the Electricity at Work regulations and relevant Health and Safety legislation. You will provide Electrical Engineering support to assist in the attainment of the Company's published operationally and development objectives. Our Electrical Manager will have/be able to:- Electrical competency and ability to mentor Excellent Project Management Skills Effective communication – to client, contractors and other stakeholders Good time management – ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities Maintain accurate records in line with Company procedures Thorough knowledge of the electrical supply industry i.e., Distribution Network Operators and National Grid ESO, electrical legislation and regulations. Technical knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems, understanding and able to assess detailed information and drawings Ability to produce/assess HV/LV electrical specifications Knowledge of construction management systems, planning and CDM Regulations Electricity at Work regs 1989.
