Base pay range
Job Title: Production Automation Specialist / Artworker
Location: Leeds OR Hull (4 days a week on-site in either location, with some travel to the other)
Salary: £34,000-38,000 per annum

What You’ll Do:
* Design, develop, and implement automation solutions that streamline the creation, revision, and management of packaging artwork
* Customise and optimise artwork management systems in collaboration with the Digital Solutions team
* Leverage your expertise in reprographics and retouching to elevate quality and efficiency
Ensure Quality & Brand Consistency:
* Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all outputs meet exacting standards of consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance
* Proactively identify and resolve quality issues, preventing potential bottlenecks
* Develop active brand guidelines and templates that uphold the highest industry standards
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand artwork requirements and deliver exceptional results
* Regularly share insights and innovations to enhance workflows and drive continuous improvement
* Support client presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the value of automation solutions
Champion Technology & Continuous Improvement:
* Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying opportunities to integrate new technologies
* Advocate for smarter ways of working by proposing and implementing forward-thinking solutions
* Partner with department leads to deliver strategic automation initiatives that enable business growth
What We’re Looking For:
Skills & Expertise:
* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
* Great organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
* Proven ability to manage digital assets and implement efficient workflows
* Experience with file setup, print processes, and colour management
Experience:
* 2+ years in artwork and packaging or print, with a focus on automation and brand consistency
* Demonstrated experience in developing guidelines, toolkits, and knowledge banks
* Familiarity with database systems and workflow automation tools is a bonus

Interview Process:
Two stage interview. First stage will be to meet the Head of Production via video link and Second stage will be onsite to meet the Automation Lead and other members of the team.
