We currently have an opportunity for two enthusiastic individuals to join our Urgent Care team as an Urgent Care Call Handler on a 22.5 hours/ week basis. Please note that upon applying for this role, we will be able to share our various working patterns, which include weekdays and weekends, and out-of-hours shifts, with you for consideration About the role: You will work at the heart of our Urgent Care team and ensure the best possible care is delivered in this diverse role. This role can be extremely dynamic at times and you will enjoy an environment where no two days are quite the same. We will be able to offer the opportunity to grow professionally with the support of a thriving team. A typical day could look something like this: Supporting the Urgent Care Coordinators to provide a quality and professional service. Providing a professional and responsive central point of reference to health and social care professionals. Carrying out additional support functions as directed by the Urgent Care Coordinator. About you: As part of this role, you will be able to bring some key skills and qualities to the team such as: Excellent communication, telephone and keyboard skills An ability to prioritise workloads An ability to work within tight deadlines An ability to follow instructions, procedures and protocols Intuition to support outstanding patient care Full training will be provided to ensure that you will become confident and comfortable within your role. Please note that as our operation runs around the clock, 365 days/year, you’ll need to bring a flexible approach to working hours as our rolling shift patterns include days/weekends, overnights and Bank Holidays.
