An established M&E Contractor are currently looking for an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join their team near Cambridge due to continued growth and a strong order book for 2025.
Their customer base ranges from large national organisations to individual customers across a spectrum of sectors including industrial, education, retail, healthcare and residential. They deliver projects across East Anglia, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire area with typical project values from £5k to £5m.
As the Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, you will be overseeing electrical installations compliance and documentations, technical support and ensuring every project reflects the company's dedication to quality and compliance.
As the Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, you will have the following responsibilities:
* An active part in leading the team to ensure electrical installations meet and exceed their high standards and the rigorous NICEIC and industry standards.
* Validate inspection and testing results, ensuring all certifications align with their standards.
* Conduct thorough post-inspection reviews to ensure work is fully compliant and maintains high quality and standards.
* Provide expert technical advice to project teams, helping them overcome challenges, resolve issues and offering solutions where necessary.
* Support and prepare for the annual NICEIC inspections, ensuring all documentation is precise, accurate and up to date.
* Assist the H&S Team with input to Safe Systems of Work and company best practices and procedures.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
* City and Guilds 2391 in Testing & Inspection.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems, construction practices and industry standards.
* Proven experience in domestic and commercial electrical installations.
* Strong technical knowledge, with an eye for detail and a passion for quality.
* Motivated, self-sufficient and eagerness to collaborate with a team that strives for excellence.
* H&S Knowledge.
