HR Recruit is currently seeking an experienced HR professional for an HR Business Partner role based in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. Accountability for 1 direct report, you will report into the European HR Director based overseas.

Key responsibilities include:
* Partner with the broader HR Team to provide strategic and tactical HR support, ensuring alignment with business and corporate direction, strategic initiatives, and human resources best practices (e.g., talent recruitment, development, and training; engagement; succession planning; performance management; legal/regulatory compliance; compensation, safety and benefit policies and practices).
* Oversee employee relations investigations, interviews, documentation, and follow-up, supporting the administration of appropriate follow-up.
* Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership and facilitate escalation, as needed.
* Provide data analysis and reporting based on business needs. Support in handling HR administrative data transactions and processes in support of the business.
* Proactively recommend and assess strategic talent and organisational development initiatives that address the evolving needs of the business. Partner with the managers and training specialists regarding development needs, identifying and facilitating activities to improve skills, encourage career development, and build strengths.
* Mentor the leadership team on effective performance review processes to ensure consistency, fairness, and timeliness.
* Establish best practices with the HR team to develop and coordinate programs and events.

The company has 2 sites and travel will be required to the other site on an ad-hoc basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring and ambitious HR professional to take HR to the next level. In return, you will receive a salary of between £50,000-£60,000.
