Job summary 1x fixed term contract for up to 9 months An opportunity has arisen to be part of the senior operational leadership team in the role of Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO). Working in conjunction with our other DCOO, will lead three of our operational directorates. Ensuring effective day to day operational delivery, supporting system flow by working closely with partner organisations, and developing new ways of delivering services are all key aspects of the role. This role will be responsible for MH & LD urgent care and inpatient, Community PH, MH & LD and Children's & Young People Services for PH, MH & LD. Main duties of the job We are looking for a senior operational manager with experience within the NHS in acute and/or community physical and mental health services. Experience in mental health services is essential. The ideal candidate would be someone with the demonstrable ability to think creatively about the future delivery of services in partnership with established bodies and within our communities and will have the ability to influence and inspire internal and external stakeholders at all levels, with a strong people focus. Your solid communication and influencing skills, together with political astuteness and resilience will ensure quality, access and financial targets are reliably and consistently delivered.
