Class 1 driver

Class 1 Multidrop Driver Days
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Shift times: 7am starts, 10-12 hour days, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: £14.16 per hour (7 hour guarantee in place)

We're looking for full-time, Class 1 Days Drivers to join us at our site in Bury St Edmunds. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

What you'll do on a typical day:

* Multidrop deliveries between customer sites
* On average 12-14 drops across East Anglia - drops will be all similar postcode areas.
* Typically, 1 trailer swap and collection to carry out.
* Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
* In the absence of a customer forklift driver, you will need to use pallet truck to unload pallets off trailer.
* Using a handheld scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
* Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.

What you need to succeed with our client

1. Multidrop delivery experience.
2. ADR licence is preferred by not essential.
