Responsibilities
1. Partner with UK business leaders and managers to build their people capability, plan and manage talent and develop approaches that achieve shared organizational objectives.
2. Manages recruitment and onboarding processes for UK employees.
3. Organizes office events (team building, lunch and learns, holidays).
4. Manages building maintenance processes and relationship with our vendor as needed (office repairs, rebuilds, improvements).
5. Informs North America HR team on UK regional updates, law/policy changes, employment law, and any relevant employee related compliance updates/concerns.
6. Partners with finance department on behalf of UK employees (promotions, merit/bonus, manager changes, title changes, etc.)
7. Advocate for UK employees. Keeping region current with company communications and support. Provides suggestions to the Director or HR and leadership on how to keep region engaged.
8. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
9. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
10. Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
11. Analyze salary market data and trends to help with career pathing and retention.
12. Performs day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (coaching, career development, counseling, disciplinary actions).
13. Compliance management (including GDPR).
14. Executing special projects as assigned by the Director of Human Resources and the Senior Leadership team.
15. Supporting the implementation of HR solutions and processes.
16. Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
17. Developing and managing the company’s succession plan.
18. Creating and executing employee satisfaction surveys and exit interviews; recommends change and cultural enhancements to improve employee relations and retention.
19. Developing, recommending, and implementing personnel policies and procedures.
20. Maintaining accuracy of company and employee data in the HR System (including contractor entry for UK).
Requirements
1. This is a hybrid role which requires working three days a week from either our ADP office in Staines or our WorkForce Software office in Milton Keynes and two days from your home office.
2. 5+ years’ experience as a Human Resources Senior Generalist, Business Partner or equivalent preferably with a technology company.
3. Experience overseeing the implementation and management of an HRIS system.
4. Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
5. Strategic planning with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus.
6. Well-organized and self-directed with the ability to perform both high level planning as well as hands-on tasks when required.
7. Articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent team building and communication skills.
8. Training and coaching of managers and HR staff in how to handle and manage common business issues.
9. Facilitation and resolution of conflicts.
10. Experiences in managing a range of HR and administrative areas of responsibility including payroll, benefits, disability, employee relations, staffing, employee, and organizational development and required legal obligations.
Education
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
