English Graduate Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities:
* Support English teachers in planning and preparing engaging lesson content for secondary pupils.
* Lead small group sessions or one-to-one tutoring to help with reading comprehension and essay writing.
* Facilitate group discussions, encouraging students to analyse and interpret texts.
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour to maintain a productive environment for focused English study.
* Use digital resources and educational tools to enhance lesson delivery and engage students in literature and language.
* Provide social and emotional support to students, addressing any concerns to promote a positive learning experience.
English Graduate Teaching Assistant - Essential Requirements:
* A degree in English or a related field - Minimum 2:1 degree from a recognised UK University.
* Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support students and work collaboratively with staff.
