HR Manager
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Part-Time: 30 hours, across 5 days (Monday - Friday) (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to A£60,000 (FTE) plus benefits

We are now looking to recruit an HR Manager to join us in Hatfield. As our HR Manager, you will be the main point of contact for all HR-related matters within the business covering the UK and Ireland offices. The role involves supporting the business on a wide range of day-to-day HR issues and developing the HR function internally.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Employee Relations: Advise senior management on appropriate communication and staff involvement strategies to enhance employee engagement and staff wellbeing. Communicate and administer staff surveys, facilitate follow-up action plans, and manage relationships with legal and outsourced HR advisors.
2. Recruitment: Define recruitment requirements, identify appropriate advertising platforms, and manage the recruitment lifecycle through to successful onboarding.
3. Individual & Team Development: Ensure appraisals are conducted twice yearly, support and coach managers, and identify core competencies to support performance.
4. Training: Identify training needs from appraisals and business requirements, source suitable training solutions, and maintain the annual training plan.
5. Budgeting: Work with Finance on the preparation of the budget regarding staff levels/salary increases and monitor all HR-related budgets.
6. Administration & Payroll: Ensure employee personnel records are maintained and up to date, provide advice on payroll and administrative matters, and monitor emails daily for queries.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
1. CIPD Level 5 qualified or above
2. Proven HR Manager experience within a medium-sized organization, preferably within the Aviation sector
3. Knowledge of policy development, HR leadership, organizational development, and recruitment and selection
4. Experience of using BreathHR preferred, however training will be given
5. Experience in change management
6. Flexibility to travel to our Company sites within the UK or Ireland
7. Flexibility to work outside or in excess of standard hours when necessary
