Sr. Hardware Engineer
We are looking for a Sr. Hardware Engineer to join our Christchurch Team!
As our Sr. Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for programming, executing, and engineering design, construction, installation, and/or ongoing engineering support of facilities, systems, and technical policies and procedures within our Avionics and Electronics division.
Responsibilities include:
* Implementing and maintaining procedures, methods, and tools for electronic equipment design data for aerospace applications (DO-254, ARP4754, DO-160).
* Planning and executing engineering programs within budget and schedule to meet customer requirements.
* Reviewing product development activities for technical and process compliance, ensuring airworthiness of design solutions.

Additional responsibilities include complying with health and safety requirements and the company's Quality Management System.
What You Bring:
* Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
* At least 5 years of experience in embedded digital and analogue design in aerospace, automotive, medical, or safety-critical environments.
* At least 5 years in engineering management, leading teams through full product development cycles.
* Familiarity with microprocessor/microcontroller systems, schematic design using ORCAD, Op Amp analogue & DC-DC PSU design, and EMC considerations.
