We are recruiting for a Parts Supervisor to join our Exciting ‘Team.' The position is full time, and we would love you to work within our Parts Team based at our HQ Thatcham. We need your forward thinking and skills to identify parts, order from our suppliers, support the other members of the team, stock control our stores and raise quotations for our customers. Because we are independent every challenge is new and different. The parts department is a key part of our business that facilitates and aids our Service and Engineering teams. Here's what you’ll do: To work alongside the Parts Team and our amazing customers. ⚙️ Liaise and maintain relationships with our customers. Because we are independent every challenge is new and different. ⚙️ Liaising with the Parts Manager and Parts Assistant manager to help our busy team. ⚙️ Takes ownership of responsibilities and outcomes in our busy and fast-paced department. ⚙️Coordinate inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels. ⚙️ Support the Team. ⚙️ Place orders with our suppliers. ⚙️ Identify parts for the many forklifts we work on. ⚙️ Carry out regular stock checks to keep stock levels in order. ⚙️ Able to plan and organise work. ⚙️ 8am - 5pm mon-thurs (with 1 hour lunch) and 8am - 4:30pm Fri (with half an hour lunch). ⚙️ Full-Time position. ⚙️ Immediate start. ⚙️ All training will be provided. Qualifications and Skills of the Parts Supervisor. Candidates with experience as a Parts Supervisor or within a Parts company within a Material Handling /plant / equipment hire, however, candidates with the relevant parts experience from any background will be considered. i.e ⚙️ Good verbal and written communication skills ⚙️ Competency with use of Microsoft & data systems ⚙️ Good time management. ⚙️ Share our Values - Heart: Passionate about fostering a supportive work environment. ⚙️ Share our Values - Trust: Builds and maintains trustworthy relationships.
