We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join NHS Dumfries and Galloway’s Acute & Diagnostic Administration team as a Clerical Officer within the Front of House service.
Based within Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary (DGRI) and Mountainhall Treatment Centre (MHTC), the post holder will fulfil a crucial role in providing clerical and administrative support to all areas within the Front of House service (DGRI – Main Reception, Orthopaedics, Outpatients, Oncology, Day Surgery Unit and wards; MHTC - Bay 3 and Ophthalmology Theatres).
The role includes providing reception, admin, and clerical support to the relevant area. You will work closely with clinical staff providing admin support, ensuring that documentation such as clinic packs and electronic case notes are completed within set timescales.
The successful candidate should be a team player with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude as they will assist from time to time in a variety of areas depending on service level objectives.
Other attributes we would be looking for the successful candidate to demonstrate on their application form and at interview include good communication and organisation skills with attention to detail, being self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed.
This post will be supported by Colleagues / Team Leader / Administration Services Manager.
The post will require the successful applicant to obtain Standard Disclosure Clearance.
