Role: Risk & Compliance Manager

We're working with a global company at the forefront of advanced material solutions. Their specialised products are trusted worldwide; enhancing durability and protections within highly regulated industries.
Together, we are seeking a new Risk & Compliance Manager to join the team. This role is positioned to develop and deploy strategies that enhance security, risk management, and compliance frameworks in line with stakeholder expectations across the EMEA region.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Strategic Leadership: Proactively contribute to the development and deployment of the EMEA regional strategy. Lead the delivery of functional plans to achieve the organisation's vision and ensure compliance with all KPIs.
2. Cross-function Collaboration: Partner with various functions including Planning, Quality, Finance, HR, OHS&E, Supply Chain, IT, Commercial, and Production to adhere to policies and frameworks.
3. Risk Management: Provide leadership and direction for continuous improvement in risk management, auditing, physical security, and product security activities. Facilitate risk management workshops and conduct risk assessment studies.
4. Security: Ensure physical security measures are defined and implemented through a security zone approach. Manage and deliver integrated Security Risk initiatives and projects.
5. Compliance: Lead compliance with approved regional document security practices and manage the personnel security clearance process for all employees, contractors, MDR, and service providers.
6. Governance: Ensure appropriate governance and compliance arrangements to meet local statutory obligations. Prepare quarterly Governance Risk Oversight Meeting (GROM) reports and act as secretary to the GROM.
7. Policy Development: Review existing and develop new policies and frameworks for continuous improvement in risk and control matters.
8. Training: Develop and deliver training and cultural change programs to drive desired levels of risk, control, and ethical standards.

We are looking for a leader who can inspire and guide teams towards achieving excellence in risk management and compliance. You should have strong people leadership skills, with a proven track record in operational management. Your extensive experience in risk management within a manufacturing environment will be crucial in driving continuous improvement and ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance.
Communication is key in this role, and you must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with various functions and stakeholders.
