Digital Content Coordinator
Location: Hybrid (within a commutable distance to one of the UHI Academic Partners and HISA offices)
Are you a creative digital whiz with a passion for social media, content creation, and making a difference? The Highlands and Islands Students’ Association (HISA) is on the hunt for a Digital Content Coordinator to help us connect with our 30,000 students across the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI).
This is your chance to take the lead in shaping our digital presence, creating bold and innovative content strategies, and amplifying the voices of our diverse student community.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and deliver a dynamic social media strategy, keeping up with trends and best practices.
Manage our social media platforms, creating engaging content that sparks conversations and drives engagement.
Design and enhance our website, making it more accessible, student-friendly, and reflective of our vibrant community.
Support and train local teams to create their own impactful content.
Monitor and evaluate digital activity, providing insights to improve our online presence.
Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion through your work.
What We’re Looking For:
A creative thinker with experience in managing social media platforms and creating innovative content.
Knowledge of current social media trends, audience behaviours, and best practices.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a wide range of people.
Good IT skills include social media tools, website platforms, and analytics software.
Bonus points if you have experience in website development, bilingual (Gaelic) accessibility, or working in Further/Higher Education!
